Questions, answered

A few things to know.

Practical details about the upcoming Kriva 3.0 release.

Is Kriva 3.0 available now?

Not yet. This site previews the next release, 3.0.0. Version 2.7.0 has been approved. The App Store link opens the currently available release.

What can I do on a difficult day?

Choose what feels difficult on Home, then open a manageable step. You can keep it for later, optionally record how it went, or record symptoms without trying an activity.

Do I have to log every day?

No. Recording and feedback are optional. A skipped day is not treated as a result, and you can return when it helps.

What is included in the first week?

In 3.0, the app grants seven days of access to all features without requiring a payment to begin. It ends automatically without a charge. The welcome week is separate from any App Store subscription offer. External services still need permission and a connection; device-specific features need compatible hardware. Some features require Kriva+ afterwards. Current prices and subscription terms are shown in the app before purchase.

How do Notes and visit preparation work together?

Open Notes from Home or Track to write, edit, search or share note text. Turn on “Add to visit prep” in a note, then choose “For my visit” in Notes. Their current text is included in your visit summary; removing a note from that selection keeps the original. Visit selections are stored on this device. Photos are not included in the Notes text export.

Do I need Apple Health or a wearable?

No. You can record information manually. If you connect Apple Health, Kriva uses the readings you permit. A missing reading remains missing, rather than being presented as a health score.

Does Apple Intelligence mean my data goes to an external AI company?

No. Apple’s on-device model runs locally when supported and available. External AI is a different, optional setting. Read How AI works for the features and information involved.

Does Kriva measure my hormones or diagnose conditions?

No. Kriva helps you organise records and find general wellbeing support. Symptoms and wearable readings cannot confirm a hormone level or diagnosis. Discuss new, persistent or concerning symptoms with a clinician.

Can I keep my HRT routine here?

You can keep treatment details, record your routine, attach a label photo and use supported reminders. Review any extracted details before saving. The app does not prescribe HRT or change your dose automatically.

Can I use Kriva during menopause?

Yes. Life-stage context and recorded concerns help shape the experience. You can use symptoms, sleep, mood, food, treatment records and visit preparation even when you are no longer recording periods.

Does Kriva collect usage analytics?

The upcoming 3.0 release removes app-usage analytics and PostHog. Earlier installed versions may still send usage events when Analytics is enabled; turn it off in You → Privacy & data → Analytics until you update. Updating removes retired local identifiers and queued events, but does not erase events previously received by the provider. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Where can I get help with the app?

Visit Support or use the feedback option in the app. For data handling and your rights, see the Privacy Policy.
